Is the show worth the ticket?

Hey, I’m Emi. I built showtab because concert tickets got expensive, and I kept wondering if the experience was actually worth the money (in this economy?).

You hear the stories: artists showing up hours late (looking at you, Junior), phoning it in, or singing over playback. But there are also artists who connect with the crowd, put everything into the show, and make every dollar of the ticket worth it. I wanted one place to find out which is which, from the people who were actually there.

That’s what showtab is for: keep a tab on the shows you’ve been to, and help the next fan decide.

How ratings work

You rate the shows you went to on four things, from 1 to 5: performance, setlist, crowd energy and sound.
An artist’s live score comes from performance, setlist and crowd. Sound counts toward the venue, since a bad mix usually isn’t the artist’s fault.
Scores are fair to new artists. An artist with a couple of reviews starts near the site average and moves as more people rate them, so one 5-star review can’t put anyone at the top.
Can’t find your show? Add it yourself. Small venues and smaller artists count too.
